I would like to let all residents know that when you take anything to the recycle bin or garbage bin that you need to flatten ALL BOXES and put everything in the correct bin. I have opened dumpster bins and found barbeques and larger pieces of wood and garbage cans just left in the area. This means that our maintenance man or I have to flatten the boxes and break down anything that is just put in the dumpster area. One day I will catch someone doing this but for now, they seem to be doing it when nobody is around so please break everything down so it will fit in the appropriate bin.
I would also like to let all residents know that since Eric has retired and we are getting new vendors in the park that you need to be very careful when you get vendors out of the Periodico as they are charging extremely high prices to do any of the work that you need to get done. There is a company called Mobile Home Wash Company in our park that is making Attorney wages for pressure washing, gutter cleaning etc. Please do not let this company in the park. Instead, call me in the office and I will let you know approximately what you should be paying for the service. A lot of new residents have never lived in a mobile home before and are being taken advantage of because they have no idea what they should be paying so please check with the office after you have received a bid for the job and I should be able to give you some helpful advice. There is also a vendor who does roofs in the Periodico that is taking advantage of us in the park.
I know by now that the election for our park is over and the new board members have been elected. I am glad that the park is now able to get ready for the new year and do what is best for the park.
I also hope by now that the information channel is back up and running as at this point I do not know what happened with channel 172 as it just disappeared. All I was getting was channel 171 and 173 no channel 172. I will be working with Comcast to restore the channel to our park.
We now have our pond working again as well as the spa was refurbished so I am glad to have all that work completed.
Next, we will be working on the new fence along La Paloma as a car went through it. I will also be working with the Board of Directors to see about a cement pole barrier along the outside of the fence to protect any more vehicles from coming through into our park.
In closing, I would like to let everyone in the park know that my home phone number is 408 371-5909 and if you ever have an emergency or feel unsafe at night call me and I will be there right away but only for emergencies. If for some reason I am away from the park or unavailable please call 911 or the Campbell police non-emergency number 408 378-8161.
Let’s all have a GREAT 2018 Thanks, Larry
