By now everyone knows that the swimming pool is now open and heated to 84 degrees. So get out there and enjoy the pool and warm weather. Don’t forget the water exercise class in the morning that is led by Don and Sue Holmes. We now have 11 new homes in the park. I know that there is an inconvenience during the time they are installing them but thank goodness it is only temporary. Every time they put in a new home our property values go up. Also so many residents are putting money into their homes and continue upgrading the appearance of their homes. I thank all of you for taking such good care of your homes as we don’t want to be one of those trailer parks like they have on Monterey Road. I am also hoping that our new signs are here and installed by the time you are reading this, as our sign on Union Avenue looks terrible on the north-facing side of it. We are also beefing up our security in the park as we had a break in at our laundry room. They broke into the coin slots and got some money out of them. They also cut the heavy duty lock on the NERT shed and the third shed by the maintenance shop. We have had new dead bolts installed in the back doors to the laundry room as well as the door to the hot water heater. I will also be installing new doors as you come out of the bathrooms and the inside door in the office so that they can’t be kicked through as they will be solid wood doors with dead bolts. I will also be looking at what it will cost to put some cameras in the park again as maybe they have some new wireless units that can be installed. I will also be checking on the park later at night. Lock your cars at night! We will catch them soon I hope.
