I hope when you are reading this that we are not going through another few weeks of 100 degree heat waves. Everything is looking well in the park and I hope that everyone got all their items taken care of that were on our inspection list for July. The HCD inspector came out last month and there were only 4 coaches that were in violation so they will probably be getting another letter or maybe some fines for failing to comply with their written violations. We have had the park sprayed for fleas but between the stray cats, possums, raccoons and other animals we can only do so much but we do the best we can. The chemical that they spray is not harmful to humans, dogs or cats but it sure takes care of the fleas. A lot of people had a great time at the 4th of July party at the clubhouse. I want to thank all the residents who put in so much of their valuable time to make it a success and also to those who stayed late and helped with the clean-up. Without you giving of your time all the fun would not be possible. In the future since the 4th of July and Christmas seem to be the two big turn outs for residents of the park, both parties will be catered and we will hire a clean up crew so that more residents will be able to enjoy the party and not have to spend all their time volunteering some where and working all the time. I am also glad to tell everyone that we have completed rebuilding most everything in the park so our reserves will be going up even faster than they have. Our last big ticket item will be doing the streets and curbs to get rid of the driveway plates but we can wait on that for awhile.
